Sergeant Lentino served in the Vietnam War from 1969-1970 as a Scout Door Gunner with Apache Troop 1/9. Scouts was a notoriously dangerous assignment, which he proved by handing his tour ended abruptly after taking multiple enemy rounds through his arm and hand.
Sergeant Lentino talks with us about helping other veterans, the amazing effect his dog has had on helping him with PTS, and the healing power talking to high school students about his experiences has had for him.
